Auto Detailing in Ranburne, AL
Every vehicle that leaves this shop after a repair gets cleaned before anyone hands over the keys. Customers mention it more than they mention the auto body work itself, which tells you something about how rare it has become.
Paint correction, and its limit
The dull haze and fine circular scratches on an older finish are swirl marks, put there mostly by automatic washes and dry rags. Polishing removes them by levelling the clear coat, and the result on a neglected car is dramatic. It is also a one-way process: clear coat is thin, measured in microns, and once it is polished away it does not come back. So we check what we have to work with and stop while there is still protection left. Any shop willing to buff aggressively on every car will eventually burn through one.
Inside
Extraction on carpet and cloth rather than a surface shampoo, and a proper conditioner on leather instead of something that looks wet for a week and then dries out the hide. Red Alabama clay in the floor mats is its own project, and anyone who lives down a dirt road in Cleburne County knows exactly what we mean.
Headlights
Hazed, yellowed lenses cut your light output substantially, which matters on unlit county roads between here and Heflin. Sanding them back and resealing with a real coating is one of the cheapest safety improvements available on an older vehicle.
Also on its own
You do not need a repair to book detailing. Before selling, after a long summer, or when a work truck needs to look presentable for something. One customer had us paint his hood and trunk and we detailed the interior and buffed the whole exterior while it was here. People book this on its own from Fruithurst, Edwardsville, Anniston, and across the line from Carrollton.
